Joe Afriat, Eagle’s founder, is an experienced professional in the fields of ironwork, electronics and access control. Thanks to Joe’s strong leadership, Eagle grew from a leading installation company to a pioneering manufacturer of gate operators and access control accessories. This was the foundation of Eagle’s line of products and valuable solutions.

In 1998, Joe released the first Eagle Gate Operator, the Eagle-2000 Slide Gate Operator with its groundbreaking control board, named the Diamond Control Board. This is the most feature-packed control board available. Joe understood, firsthand, the pressure on fence contractors, welding fabricators and gate manufacturing professionals to remain competitive, yet keep costs down. After much research and evaluation, Joe concluded that access control professionals needed a complete line of gate operators from one single company. His originating ideas drove him to design a full line of AC and DC operators from small residential to commercial/industrial applications, including Slide or Swing types, all backed by an industry, Best-in-Class, Warranty.
